Abstract

We show in this paper, the analysis of a university level Physics teaching experience, the Workshop of Teaching Physics (Taller de Enseñanza de Física). We focalized our study in the identification of teachers’ images of science. We found relationships between teachers’ images of science and teachers’ classroom practice. We interpreted these relationships in the frame of Science Studies contributions to Science Education. In this framework, we could determine some characteristics of an authentic learning environment.
