ATIVIDADE COM PAIS NO COMPUTADOR “NANOAPC”: CO(NTRIBUTOS PARA A APRENDIZAGEM DA NANOTECNOLOGIA NO CONTEXTO DA DISCIPLINA DE QUÍMICA

Resumen

Las Actividades con Padres en la Computadora son tareas pedagógicas basadas en contenidos disciplinares socialmente relevantes con el objetivo de establecer la conexión escuela-hogar y la colaboración entre padres y alumnos, para promover la alfabetización digital y la alfabetización en un dominio específico. Este artículo aborda un estudio que tuvo como objetivo investigar la contribución de la Actividad con Padres en la Computadora “NanoAPC”, tanto para el desarrollo del conocimiento de los estudiantes de 8º grado sobre el área de la nanotecnología, como para sensibilizar a los padres/tutores para dicha zona. Las actividades fueron propuestas en un ambiente formal de aprendizaje, la escuela, pero fueron realizadas en casa por el alumno y uno de los padres o tutor. NanoAPC pretendía ayudar a los estudiantes a aprender contenidos de Química contextualizados con los avances y aplicaciones de la nanotecnología en la sociedad, desde una perspectiva sociocientífica. Se implementó un plan de investigación cuasi-experimental, con la participación de 58 estudiantes y 58 padres/tutores. Los estudiantes se dividieron en dos condiciones experimentales que se probaron: los grupos 1 y 2, sujetos a NanoAPC, pero con una intervención inicial diferente, y el grupo 3, sujeto a una ficha de actividades. Todos los grupos fueron sometidos a un cuestionario a modo de pre-test y post-test, respectivamente antes y después de la intervención. Los resultados, derivados del análisis del pretest y postest y de las respuestas dadas en las respectivas fichas de actividades, muestran que los alumnos de los grupos 1 y 2 mostraron una mejora significativa en sus conocimientos sobre nanotecnología en comparación con los del grupo 3. Concluimos que el recurso digital NanoAPC es útil para los docentes que muestran interés en abordar la nanotecnología pero tienen limitaciones de tiempo debido a la gestión curricular. Además, promueve la triangulación padres-alumno-ordenador y, en consecuencia, sensibiliza a los padres en este ámbito.
